The Northern part of Madagascar is well-known for its diversity of landscapes, vegetation and even weather; the climate is agreeable with distinct wet and dry seasons. The island is comprised of six provinces and is the world´s fourth largest island. The Northern part of Madagascar is known as ´tropical north´ as it boasts pleasant weather, stunning scenery and a truly tropical feel - everything you would expect from a tropical vacation destination and one of the place to discover three bays and beautiful beach from Ramena beach with beautiful excursion. From snorkeling to exploring the national parks, the North of Madagascar is the place to go... You may have heard of the popular holiday destination called Nosy Be - beautiful beaches and warm tropical waters, Nosy Be is by far one of the most popular Madagascar vacation destinations and is located in this part of Madagascar.

Day 1: Welcome to the international airport at Ivato Antananarivo and then transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 2: Antananarivo - Diego Suarez (flight)

After breakfast, transfer to airport and then flight to Diego Suarez, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Diego Suarez - Tsingy of Ankarana (about 90km)

Leave to Ankarana after breakfast and we will discover the mountains, southeast of Diego and then visit the Red Tsingy before continue to Ankarana. Located right at the feet of eroded canyons, within the single sedimentary basin of Madagascar and heterogeneous vegetation, they are made of sandstone, limestone. We will arrive in Ankarana towards the middle of the afternoon.
The Ankarana is the second place in Madagascar where you can see the famous Tsingy. Here, we will walk through the forest where many endemic specimens live and appreciate the scenery offered by these impressive limestone formations

Day 4: Visit Tsingy of Ankarana

Ankarana National Park was created in 1956 and lies about 90 km south of Antsiranana covering an area of 182, 5 km². It is a spectacularly eroded limestone fortress of sharp ridges, patches of dense tropical jungle, deciduous forest, deep caves and canyons (actually the biggest underground network of Africa) and rushing rivers.
This reserve contains one of the highest density of primates of any forest in the world. Its dense forests support one of the largest and least disturbed populations of crowned lemurs. Sanford´s brown lemur, perrier's black lemur, northern sportive lemur and dwarf lemurs, ringtailed mongoose, fossa, tenrecs and Madagascar striped civet are also a common sight. Almost 100 bird species, 50 reptiles (including some endemic and threatened snakes and geckos) and 10 frogs cohabit in the Park. Inside the spectacular and huge labyrinth of caves 14 bat species, local endemic blind shrimps and the world´s only known cave-living crocodiles are waiting for your visit.

Day 5: Ankarana - Amber Mountain

After breakfast, we drive back to Diego and stop to visit Amber Mountain and then check your hotel.

Day 6: Visit Amber mountain national park

Amber Mountain (Montagne d´Ambre) National Park is one of Madagascar´s most famous parks, known for its fantastic array of colourful orchids found only on the island, along with other rare plants. The park´s fauna is just as colourful, with unusual species like blue-nosed chameleons and seven different kinds of lemur.
Located in the northern part of the island, Amber Mountain is among the most accessible parks in Madagascar, with good infrastructure and it is home to lemurs, sacred waterfalls and lush vegetation. The Amber Mountain is the first national park to be created in Madagascar. We will do a trek in the national park to see the different species of lemurs, the smallest and rarest chameleon in the world, and both sea and land turtles. Afterwards you will continue to Grand Cascade, a beautiful waterfall that pours into a natural swimming pool surrounded.

Day 7: Amber mountain - Diego - Ramena beach

Leave after breakfast and then drive to Diego and continue to Ramena beach and visit bay.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Fly to Nosy Be or flight back to Antananarivo to other destination
