The Northern part of Madagascar is well-known for its diversity of landscapes, vegetation and even weather; the climate is agreeable with distinct wet and dry seasons. The island is comprised of six provinces and is the world´s fourth largest island. The Northern part of Madagascar is known as ´tropical north´ as it boasts pleasant weather, stunning scenery and a truly tropical feel - everything you would expect from a tropical vacation destination and one of the place to discover three bays and beautiful beach from Ramena beach with beautiful excursion. From snorkeling to exploring the national parks, the North of Madagascar is the place to go... You may have heard of the popular holiday destination called Nosy Be - beautiful beaches and warm tropical waters, Nosy Be is by far one of the most popular Madagascar vacation destinations and is located in this part of Madagascar.

Day 1: Welcome to the international airport at Ivato and then transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 2 - 3: Antananarivo - Ankarafantsika

We leave in the morning and then drive to Ankarafantsika. It is located in the Northwest part of island, is a mosaic of dense and dry forests. Ankarafantsika is known for its lakes, the last refuge of leading species. It is also a haven of lemurs and endemic birds and 115 from Majunga. The national road N°4 crosses the park, located in the region of Boina.It spreads on 135 ha.

Ankarafantsika is a den of birds and lemurs, eight species of lemurs, five typically nocturnal species of which the famous Microcebus, the smallest primate in the world.129 species of birds nest in the forest of Ankarafantsika including Mesita varied coua, Coquerel Philepitta of Schegel and Vanga van Dam, 75 among them are endemic .It is also home of local endemic reptile species, 10 amphibian and 44 reptiles species and home of chameleon Overnight at the hotel

Day 4: Ankarafantsika - Majunga

Drive to Majnuga after breakfast and then along the way, pass several beautiful landscapes. Arrive in Majunga then check your hotel and visit around the town.Majunga is one of the easiest routes to do by road and one way to see a biggest baobab in Madagascar and then nice town to walk around the sea.

Day 5: Majunga - Antsohihy

Drive again to North way till Antsohihy and then many stop along the way to watch different things and arrive in Antsohihy then check your hotel and sleeping

Day 6: Antsohihy - Tsingy d´Ankarana

Always leave in the morning and then drive to special reserve of Tsingy d´Ankarana. So during the trip till Reserve, there are many beautiful landscapes, and you will see also the daily life of people along the road.

Day 7: All day visit in the park. The Ankarana is the second place in Madagascar where you can see the famous Tsingy. Here, we will walk through the forest where many endemic specimens live and appreciate the scenery offered by these impressive limestone formations. So, if you have lucky you´ll see fossa , many wildlifes.This reserve is one also very interesting to visit cave of bats and one of the spectacular canyons.

Day 8: Ankarana - Diégo Suarez

After breakfast, drive to Diego and then pass to visit Tsingy rouge( red Tsingy) and we will discover in the mountains, southeast of Diego, the Red Tsingy. Located right at the feet of eroded canyons, within the single sedimentary basin of Madagascar and a heterogeneous vegetation, They are made of sandstone, marl and limestone.So, in the evening we will arrive in Diego and check your hotel.

Day 9: Visit Park Amber Mountain

Amber Mountain (Montagne d´Ambre) National Park is one of Madagascar´s most famous parks, known for its fantastic array of colourful orchids found only on the island, along with other rare plants. The park's fauna is just as colourful, with unusual species like blue-nosed chameleons and seven different kinds of lemur.
Located in the northern part of the island, Amber Mountain is among the most accessible parks in Madagascar, with good infrastructure and it is home to lemurs, sacred waterfalls and lush vegetation. The Montagne d´Ambre is the first national park to be created in Madagascar. We will do a trek in the national park to see the different species of lemurs, the smallest and rarest chameleon in the world, and both sea and land turtles. Afterwards you will continue to Grand Cascade, a beautiful waterfall that pours into a natural swimming pool surrounded

Day 10: Antsiranana three Bays

Formerly known as Diego Suarez Bay, and boasting one of the finest natural harbors in the world, Antsiranana Bay is a vibrant and cosmopolitan seaport located at the northernmost trip of Madagascar, overlooking a beautiful gulf. Named after the two Portuguese explorers who discovered the island, there are wonderful lakes, rainforests and waterfalls to explore while in Antsiranana, and wildlife such as lemurs, crocodiles and an array of indigenous birds can be viewed. The beach at Ramena is a great place to spend a lazy day, while others can take a boat to nearby Nosy Be to explore the sandy beaches and lush inland and you can visit the three bays of Diego by motor boat.

Diego is home of the second largest bay in the world. Known for their rugged beauty, the walk will lead you in the succession of three bays. Each bay has a unique landscape but all have in common the turquoise waters. We will break in Cape Miné with its guns and fortifications that authenticate the role of the former colonial army in the Bay of Antsiranana.
We will see the beautiful sunset on the way to Diego Suarez. Accompanied by experienced sailors and fishermen, you will take a boat to a small island off the Bay of Diego to reach the Emerald Sea. You will spend the day relaxing and snorkeling in clear water while your fishermen prepare food with their daily catch.

After your excursion, you will be transferred to Joffreville, the gateway city to the Amber Mountain and then back to your hotel in the evening and next day you´ll flight back to Tana or Nosy Be to relax again on the beach.
